Role Overview

The Minister for Health invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the positions of Ordinary Member to the Board of Dublin Dental Hospital.

Profile 1: Clinical 

Essential
Candidates wishing to apply must demonstrate in their application evidence of experience at the appropriately senior level in the following area:
•    Clinical experience with a particular focus on dentistry and/or health sciences in the Irish healthcare sector 

Desirable

It is also desirable that candidates demonstrate evidence of experience in the following:
•    Experience of board membership.
•    Knowledge/Experience of public sector healthcare and/or education environments in the area of health sciences.

Profile 2: Capital Projects/ Procurement

Essential
Candidates wishing to apply must demonstrate in their application evidence of experience at the appropriately senior level in the following area:
•    Demonstrate knowledge/experience at a senior management level in the planning and delivery of capital projects and / or public sector procurement  

Desirable

It is also desirable that candidates demonstrate evidence of experience in the following:
•    Experience of board membership
•    Experience in a relevant regulatory environment
•    Relevant qualification in Procurement or Project Management
