The Civil Service is now recruiting for Policy Analysts / Economists at Assistant Principal level with relevant experience and qualifications to undertake national policy development roles in the Irish Government Economic and Evaluation Service (IGEES).
The successful candidates will be capable of drawing on their experience and expertise in the use of data and analysis to provide policy insights in support of evidence informed policy and decision making. The ideal candidates will be self-starters, capable of continuous learning, with a strong interest in the wider economic, political and social environment.
Currently a number of vacancies exist for this position. Such vacancies may be in one of many Government Departments/Offices, or in an ‘agency’ of a Government Department. It is likely that most vacancies arising over the lifetime of this panel will be in Dublin.
Please see Candidate Information Booklet for full details of the role including specific eligibility requirements. Applications will not be accepted after the closing date.
Established in 2012, IGEES is the cross-government network of economists and policy analysts operating within the Irish civil service. IGEES is working to build economic and evaluation capacity across the Civil Service and to embed an evidence-informed approach to policy analysis, design and implementation.
This vacancy is closed to applications.
