Principal Officer Level Roles in ICT/ Digital in the Civil Service

This recruitment competition offers you an exciting chance to take on a senior leadership role for ICT/digital at Principal Officer (PO) level in a Civil Service organisation. These senior leadership roles are champions for digitalisation and digital transformation, playing a key role in delivering the Government’s Digital Public Services Plan 2030 and meeting EU Digital Decade 2030 targets. 

Main Duties of the Job

Successful candidates will be experienced senior managers with direct relevant experience leading ICT/digital projects and operations, and high levels of energy, drive, resilience and motivation with a proven track record of delivery. You will be responsible for leading and managing a range of digital and ICT services and furthering the strategic objectives of your organisation.

The majority of vacancies likely to arise in Civil Service organisations will be in the wider Dublin area. A limited number of vacancies may also arise in some regional locations. A panel will be formed from this competition to fill Principal Officer-level ICT/ Digital vacancies in Civil Service Departments.
