The Minister for Health invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Ordinary Member on the Board of the Leopardstown Park Hospital.
Essential
Candidates must demonstrate in their application evidence of experience at an appropriately senior level in at least two of the following areas:
• Health Sector knowledge & experience• Financial experience across accounting, audit, financial risk management, or other relevant financial disciplines;• Experience at a senior executive level of management and/or at an equivalent advisory level providing strategic advice to Boards and/or senior executive level of management.
Desirable
It is also desirable that candidates demonstrate in their applications experience at an appropriately senior level of the following:
• A relevant professional accountancy or finance qualification• Communications / marketing or media / public relations• Community engagement / activism• Experience of regulation within the Health Sector and/or other relevant Health Sector experience• Legal experience• Experience in corporate functions such as corporate governance and compliance, finance, HR, risk • Military experience at senior level (in recognition of the historical relationship of the hospital with military veterans formalised in the Leopardstown Park Establishment Order).
